Windows 10

I did some tests running TrajectoWare Drive 1.0 on Windows 10... I got an IO error 123 on the first start of the program and solved it this way: 1. Click on 'New' in the middle of the task bar (the one left of 'Open') 2. Click on 'Save as' and save it using some name like 'test' 3. Close and reopen ...

Well, yes, I can confirm that it isn't possible to start the program on Windows 10. I will try to have a look at it.

Hi Michael, it's really hard to believe but I have just discovered the very first bug in TrajectoWare Drive since we have released version 1.0 back in 2007. If it was correct, the entered value for the tee height should be based on the unit for Length. The bug is, that it has to be entered in yards,...

...there is just one thing that I don't like, it says that the maximum height was 398.4m, which is of course wrong. The maximum height should be something slightly above the tee height.

I will have a closer look at it later today.

Hi Michael, entering a tee height of 430m, a clubhead speed of 69.6 mph and a dynamic loft of 10.5 you will get a carry distance of 400 m. However you will not see a trajectory line in the graph. The reason is very simple, the axis scaling (which you cannot change) just doesn't fit here. Cheers Frank

Re: Download Warning Message On Windows 7 PC

Hi,

I've just downloaded the file and did an installation on Win7, without any issue.

However, as we have not signed the msi file with a certificate you may get a warning message stating just that.

Hi Roger, as Dave says, our calculations are based on the work of John C. Adams. It is possible to tweak this calculation by yourself. However to do this you must be able to compile a C++ source code to a DLL. I have done this for Visual Studio 6, but it should be possible to do it with Visual Studi...

Hi,

yes, there is a way. Install Windows using bootcamp or a virtual machine.

Sorry, couldn't resist. No, sorry, there is no native mac version of the program available and there are no plans to make such a version in the future.

Please try to download the installation file again. The problem is most likely a corrupted download.

Re: accuracy

Hi John, How accurate compared to trackman is trajectoware? please have a look at Dave's article on the subject. I really like it and would also like to use it to present to other pros with your permission, of course. Hey, TrajectoWare Drive is freeware, so feel free to present it to anyone you like...

I'm not sure if I understand your question right, what may be because English isn't my native language. Yes, the input data for TrajectoWare Drive may come from launch monitor measurements (and preferably does). No, there is no direct connection from any launch monitor on the market to TrajectoWare ...

Hi Mike,

no sorry, we don't have that at the moment and it is not yet on our list for 2.0.

However, we may consider to include it if we get an evident model for it.

Cheers
