Dave - I have tried to download and open twice and get the message -
traject....exe file is linked to missing export shell 32.dllgetfolderpatha.
I have explorer 6 and am running win 98 -
I tried to see if you had operating system data requirement listed but found nothing.
Any ideas ?

Hi Rob,

I've sent you a replacement for TrajectoWare.EXE by mail, which should work for you.

Cheers
Frank

Yes, we will!

I know it was said in jest (yes I do read smilies), but thought I'd mention a historical note of interest. Rob is originally responsible for the development of TrajectoWare Drive, in a roundabout, "all-for-the-want-of-a-twopenny-nail" sort of way. Consider:
  • Rob informed me that there was an "interesting" response to my driver optimization work on Golf Discussion Group. I had never heard of that forum.
  • I visited the group, and read your [David's] comments that I didn't know what I was talking about -- especially for big hitters.
  • That motivated me to go back and accuracy-check the trajectory software I had used for the study. You were right; the program was inaccurate for high ball speeds.
  • I went looking for a better program to use for my studies. It turned out that fairly few programs gave accurate results. I posted a comparison of trajectory software.
  • Frank contacted me to say that there wasn't anything in my accurate list that had a GUI that he wanted to use. When I agreed, he proposed that we develop a program that we would both be happy with.
There were a few more twists and turns, but that is the short form of how TrajectoWare Drive was born.

Cheers!

Dave, I'm
Lets just say I am the one "who put a bee in your bonnet"
Knuckles and I are internet friends and I knew his response was "tongue in cheek" -

Now let me see if I can find a way to access the help file.
I hit the help button to open but it did not work.
